Time is running out . . .
Sherrie J - Monday, November 29, 2010
This week is your last chance in 2010 to stop by the West End Cafe (aka the hot dog stand) and help support our community. This week proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Check out our West End Cafe link in the weeks ahead to see the total amount raised this year and to find out how your group can apply to operate the stand in 2011. Thanks for your support!
Tis the Season . . .
Sherrie J - Tuesday, November 16, 2010
We're not sure how it happens to be halfway through November, with Thanksgiving only a week away! This time of year keeps us very busy, and we're very thankful for our customers who choose to shop at Red Front for their holiday items. You'll find plenty of turkeys in our meat department, and don't forget you can even order a complete turkey or ham dinner from our deli. With all the holiday baking and cooking, it can be hard for us to keep our shelves full. Please ask if you can't find what you're looking for or if the shelf is empty. Looking for gifts? Give the gift of food with a Red Front gift card or choose from our selection of over 100 other gift cards. Check out our nice selection of Image Arts Boxed Christmas cards (all at 50% off the suggested price) and save yourself a trip to the post office when you purchase stamps at Customer Service. Also, don't miss our display of silk floral arrangements from a local crafter.
Amid all the hustle and bustle of the season, we also invite you to share with others in our community. There's numerous ways you can give here at Red Front . . . put change in the Salvation Army Kettle, place food items in the barrels for Salvation Army or Mercy House, or add $1 to your grocery purchase that will be given to the Salvation Army.
Again, we say THANK YOU to our customers and wish you a wonderful holiday season!

Home Delivery Update
Sherrie J - Monday, October 25, 2010
The first several weeks of our online shopping site and home delivery has gone very well. We've had numerous delivery orders (some customers have already used the service more than once) and a couple of orders that customers chose to pick up at the store. We're still tweaking the site, and hope to be adding Richfood and bulk food items in the next couple of weeks. If you haven't checked out the site yet, please do. We've just added a demo video on the home delivery page to give you an overview of the site, but it's easy to sign up for an account and look around for yourself. Remember you can place orders up to 7 days ahead of time and you can make changes to your order up until 3 hours prior to your selected delivery or pick-up time period.
Turkey Feathers!
Sherrie J - Wednesday, October 13, 2010
It's time to start collecting Turkey Feathers. Beginning Oct 13 you'll receive a turkey feather for every $50 spent in a single transaction (maximum of 5 per order). Collect five turkey feathers and redeem them from Oct. 17-Nov. 30 for a free Farm Fresh frozen turkey (10-14lb avg.) or $10 off your next grocery purchase. Qualifying online orders will also receive turkey feathers, but they can only be redeemed in store at this time.
"Red Front Calling"
Sherrie J - Tuesday, October 05, 2010
Hope you saw the front page of the Daily News-Record this morning. Photographer Nikki Fox went along with Matt on his first "official" delivery yesterday. Have you checked out the online store yet? Set up an account and look around . . . there's no fee for browsing!
Home Delivery now Available!!!
Sherrie J - Sunday, October 03, 2010
After months of discussions and weeks of fine tuning details, we are happy to announce that Red Front Online Shopping is NOW OPEN! We know there are still bugs to work out, items to add (and some to delete), but it feels good to say we're ready for business. Click on the home delivery link, read our guidelines and sign up for an account today. We'll be posting a demo video on how to navigate the site in a couple of days, but it's pretty easy to use. If you live outside our map area, you can register based on a workplace delivery address, or check back in a few days for an option to register for in store pick-up orders only. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
Store Hours
Sherrie J - Sunday, October 03, 2010
We've gotten good feedback about our new site, and several of you contacted us about the lack of the store hours on the site. Oops! We'll get them on the site soon, but we are open Monday-Saturday 7am-9pm and Sundays from 12noon-6pm. And in just a few hours (fingers crossed), you'll be able to order groceries online from our website 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
One more thing checked off the list . . .
Sherrie J - Thursday, September 23, 2010
So 2010 has been a year of a lot of big projects (parking lot upgrade, new freezers, etc.) for Red Front, and we're not finished yet! But we're excited to launch our new website and hope you like it as much as we do. Check back often for news and updates, and you can always view our weekly specials online. And beginning Oct. 4, redfront.com will be your starting point to order groceries online for at home delivery or easy in-store pickup. Feel free to comment on our news or use the "Contact Us" page to send us a note!
