During the month of May, we're celebrating our 55th anniversary!  While the Garber family has been in the grocery business for much longer, we count the years since the opening of the store at the current Chicago Ave location.  Every year we are reminded that it is only because of the support of our customers that we are able to continue serving the community around us.  So we say "Thank You" and invite you to celebrate with us as we offer many great specials (including some items for only 55¢), item samples, and giveaways during the month of May.  As always, you can stay up to date with what is happening at the store on our Facebook page.

....Our truckload of mulch and potting soil has arrived and you'll find a variety of plants in our lobby as well as vegetable and flower seeds in our produce department!  Sure signs that spring truly is near!

....The West End Cafe is now open and we hope you stop by often the next several months and show your support to the various groups.

It seems like there is a lot going on in March....March is Frozen Food Month, so you will find lots of savings on frozen food items in our ads this month.  Also, be sure to stop by the store and enter to win a small chest freezer.  Entry forms are available in our ads and by the entry box at the front of the store.

For basketball fans, March is a month of madness and brackets....you'll want to check out the fun display by Utz at the front of our store.

  

On Monday, March 11, the West End Cafe will be opening for the 2013 season.  You can find a schedule of groups running the hot dog stand this year here.

We are open today regular hours (7am-9pm). 

Due to the amount of snow in the area, Red Front will be closed all day Wednesday, March 6.  Our delivery service is also closed, although you can still shop the online store and place orders for later in the week.  Stay safe and warm!

 

Many of our customers are active in churches and community organizations and often need to feed a crowd. So we're happy to introduce a new section in aisle 10 featuring large quantity sized items. Some of these items are already in the store elsewhere, but we've also brought in some new items to increase our selection. Look for #10 cans of fruit, vegetables, pudding as well as large packages of rice, mayonnaise, peanut butter, pancake mix, and syrup. And don't forget plates, cups, napkins and plastic ware. Remember we are always happy to special order quantities and items we don't have on the shelf if we are given advance notice.

We can help you get ready!  Several of our vendors have created some fun displays in the store.  Look for pictures soon!

We are keeping busy as we strive to keep our shelves full of all of the things you need for your holiday meals and parties.  At this time of year, aisle 4 (the baking aisle) is rarely without a customer, and many people are asking the location of things they only buy this time of year.  Look for specially grouped displays (sweet potato, green bean casserole, chili ingredients, etc.) to make shopping a little easier.  And don't forget you can find many great gifts throughout the store as well, including gift cards for Red Front and many great restaurants and department stores.  Don't forget about our delivery service during these busy weeks, it can be a big time saver.  For your convenience, we are extending our store hours on Sunday, Dec. 23, opening at 10am and closing at 7pm.  Thanks for making Red Front a part of your holidays, and we wish you a very merry Christmas!

Everybody likes to save money on groceries, so we're happy to announce that you can now find click & print coupons on our website.  Simply click on the coupon icon on the left of our homepage and start browsing the available coupons.  Click on each one you'd like to print and when you're done looking, select print coupons.  You may be asked to download and install printing software before printing coupons for the first time.  Coupon selection changes regularly, and while most items featured are available are Red Front, some items may not be available at our store.  While you're thinking about coupons, you may want to check out our coupon policy as well.  Happy saving!

As part of our grand re-opening celebration, we are dropping the delivery and pick-up fees for our online store during the month of August.  We started the delivery service almost two years ago, and since that time our customer base has grown and we know many people have benefited from this service.  So if you've wanted to try it, now is the time!  You can choose to have your order delivered, or ready at the store for easy pick-up and we'll drop the fees* during the month of August.  Please note that delivery is available Monday-Fridays from 8am-6pm.  Only credit or debit cards are accepted and a $30 minimum order is required.  Click on the home delivery link on the left to learn more about how the service works and to view a video about the online shopping site.
